We are experts at delivering visits to pupils of all ages and we are excited to show you around. Every trip includes a tour and workshop, and a space to have lunch.
We ask that School visits are requested at least 2 weeks in advance. Please contact info@worldofglass.com to register your interest. A member of the education staff will contact you to discuss the details of your upcoming visit. Use the infomation tab (right) to find out more or use the link below to submit an enquiry.
During your visit you will have a tour of both our museum and our Glass furnace Heritage site by our tour guides. You will have a private glass blowing demonstration in our hot glass studio and we also provide an age related workshop to tie in with any key stage curriculum links. The cost of this is £6.00 per child.
Most group sizes can be accomodated. We suggest one chaperone for every 10 students.
School tours may be scheduled Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and can be scheduled from 10am- 1 or 2pm., and 12 – 3 or 4pm. We we ask that you book at least 2 weeks in advance .

We are eager to accommodate individuals in your class. Please help us do this by providing information in advance. All of the Museum’s exhibitions, toilets, and food service areas are accessible by wheelchair, and all public floors of the Museum can be reached by lift.
We have allocated space for the school groups to eat their packed lunches. We have hot food and drinks available in our cafe for staff.
